Katelyn had her 18 month check up on Monday. She is 34.75 inches tall (off the chart) and weighed 26 lbs 6 oz (80%). The pediatrician said that she is the tallest 18 month old he has even seen! She definitely does look like a two year old, especially with her glasses. She is on target with her mobility skills but her speech is a little behind. I'm hoping she will start talking more soon. She has recently become very interested in reading books, which should help. It seems like she is bringing me books all the time and she gets really upset if I don't drop everything I am doing right then and read to her. I guess it is her way of saying, "Hey Mom, I trying to learn. Okay!" :)
