My Little Preschooler

Katelyn started preschool this fall. She loves it and asks me every day if it is a "school day." On some days she will ask to go to school after she has already been to school. Katelyn loves learning and I am excited about the progress she is making. She knows the alphabet, letter sounds, colors, shapes, and numbers.  She is really good at counting until about 14 then she just starts saying "twentyteen." She also has a speech class twice a week that is offered through the school district that she loves. Mommy loves it too because it is the prefect time to run errands. 

This is Katelyn on her second day of preschool. I forgot to bring my camera on her first day of preschool and I felt pretty lame when I saw other moms taking pictures of their kids. So I figured getting some pictures on the second day of preschool was the next best thing!

Katelyn loves to stay busy. She must get that from me. My nickname as a child was "busy" because I always kept myself busy doing something. So school has been so nice because it gives her something to do and an opportunity to interact with other kids. She also LOVES to help me bake and knows all the ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, etc.).

Katelyn is a great big sister!

Katelyn also enjoys playing outside with her friends, going to the park, and reading books. She likes stamps, play dough, puzzles, trains, music, books, and movies. She has a great imagination and plays very well on her own. We love our sweet Katelyn!
