What happens when you are stuck at home on a rainy day without a car? I gave into my sweet cravings and made giant Oreo cookies. I really try to not make fresh baked goodies because I have no self control. I also know neither Chris nor Katelyn will eat these cookies. I know, crazy! Luckily these cookies freeze well, so I figured I can freeze most of the cookies and pull one out when I really need a sweet fix.
I have mostly craved sweets during this pregnancy and I didn't really crave sweets when I was pregnant with Katelyn. I remember thinking when I was pregnant with her that all those women craving junk were just using their pregnancy as an excuse to eat bad. Well, I get it now. I will think about eating sweets all day and fight the craving for hours. My mom she said she craved sweets more when she was pregnant with boys. I wonder if there is a connection.

ReplyDeleteI craved sweets a lot with Jack: donuts, cinnamon rolls, or anything else with cinnamon that was sweet. This time around it's not the case, so maybe we're having a girl?? We'll find out soon! Your cookies look delightful!
