So Luxurious!

The house we rent has a hot tub. When we first moved in, the landlord told us it didn't work and that he wanted to get rid of it. I guess getting rid of a hot tub isn't easy to do and it just sat in our screen porch for over a year. Recently our landlord decided he wanted to get it fixed and had a repair man come look at it. Katelyn was so excited when we got the hose and started filling it with water!


The kids have loved having a little pool to swim in! Katelyn is always telling me that she likes swimming. The hot tub is perfect for little kids because it is small and the water is warm. Chris and I like that we can control the temperature and make it really hot for when we want to get in or warm for the kids. Katelyn is tall enough to stand in the hot tub so it is easy for her to play and I can focus on holding Daniel. I definitely would not trust Katelyn in the hot tub by herself and our landlord installed some safety straps that go over the cover to lock it. I am so glad he did that because I have seen Katelyn try to lift the cover and get in.

I am always trying to incite people to come visit us. Now I can say, "Hey, we have a hot tub!"
