Katelyn's hair is really thin and fine, so I have always just wanted to let it grow and not cut it. Well, it was starting to look kind of scraggly and I decided it was time for a haircut. I just wanted her hair trimmed and hated to have to pay someone to cut such a small amount of hair. I figured if I bought some hair clippers I could just do it myself. I watched a few videos online and read some how to articles. One tip I read was to cut your child's hair in the bath tub because their hair is already wet, the child is happy and distracted, and there is no clean up.
I gave it a try and it actually worked out pretty well. Katelyn didn't seem to notice that I was trimming her hair. Unfortunately I didn't get any before pictures but I took a few pictures after I cut her hair. I'm glad she still has some curls. I was worried that the curls would go away once I trimmed her hair. I think it turned out cute! Her hair looks fuller and healthier now!
Yeah it looks super cute! And props to you for cutting her hair. I've never even attempted to cut my kids' hair. It really scares me.
