The Simple Things in Life

Why do children love cardboard boxes? I took Katelyn to Costco awhile ago and I bought some liquid dishwasher detergent. Katelyn grabbed this empty box off the shelf and threw it into the cart. She wanted to sit in the box while I pushed the cart and was very well behaved for the rest of the shopping trip. Katelyn took the box inside after we got home and continued playing with it while I brought in the groceries. This was a few months ago and we still have this box. She loves it and it is starting to fall apart! I guess it is time to go back to Costco to get another box! It is going to be a sad day when she can't fit into this box anymore!

    I just found your blog and can't believe how grown Katelyn is!!! Are you guys in Provo? I miss you, and for some reason, it haunts me that I never gave you Gustavo's recipe for beans! Aaaah! I need to take notes next time he makes them!!!

    Hey Marjie! We aren't living in Provo anymore. We moved to San Jose, Ca at the beginning of October last year. Don't stress about the black bean recipe! I have a lot of recipes I need to send to people too! :) Hope you guys are doing well.
